Pair of teacups with tea dust glaze
This pair of teacups has been coated in a tea dust glaze on a buff raku trachyte clay and was handmade by Hannah Wolter. Hannah uses a layering technique to build up a deep and textured surface while intentionally leaving voids in the glaze where her fingers have held the cup as her makers mark.
Hannah has developed rich textures and colours by testing different kiln atmospheres and temperatures and creating her own glazes. Each form is different and uniquely satisfying and all are high-fired in an electric kiln. Her architectural background influences her forms and style and her pieces are unlike anything else you will find. They are tasteful and exquisite.
*Size: approximately 90mm wide at rim (not including handle) and 45mm high. Slightly smaller than your average teacup
Care: We recommend you wash by hand and dry thoroughly.
